الر
تِلْكَ
آيَاتُ
الْكِتَابِ
الْمُبِينِ
1. Alif, Lam, Ra: Those are the signs of the manifest
writ.
إِنَّا
أَنزَلْنَاهُ
قُرْآنًا
عَرَبِيًّا
لَّعَلَّكُمْ
تَعْقِلُونَ
2. Assuredly, We descended it an Arabic Quran so you might
be mindful.
نَحْنُ
نَقُصُّ
عَلَيْكَ
أَحْسَنَ
الْقَصَصِ
بِمَا
أَوْحَيْنَا
إِلَيْكَ
هَـذَا
الْقُرْآنَ
وَإِن
كُنتَ
مِن
قَبْلِهِ
لَمِنَ
الْغَافِلِينَ
3. We relate unto you the finest stories in what We inspired
to you, this Quran; and for, you were from before it surely from
the oblivious.
إِذْ
قَالَ
يُوسُفُ
لِأَبِيهِ
يَا أَبتِ
إِنِّي
رَأَيْتُ
أَحَدَ
عَشَرَ
كَوْكَبًا
وَالشَّمْسَ
وَالْقَمَرَ
رَأَيْتُهُمْ
لِي
سَاجِدِينَ
4. For said Joseph to his father, "O my father, assuredly I
saw eleven planets, and the sun and the moon; I saw them unto me
prostrating."
قَالَ
يَا
بُنَيَّ
لاَ
تَقْصُصْ
رُؤْيَاكَ
عَلَى
إِخْوَتِكَ
فَيَكِيدُواْ
لَكَ
كَيْدًا
إِنَّ
الشَّيْطَانَ
لِلإِنسَانِ
عَدُوٌّ
مُّبِينٌ
5. He said, "O my son, relate not your vision to your
brothers lest they beguile against you, beguiling!
Assuredly, Satan is to humanity a manifest enemy."
وَكَذَلِكَ
يَجْتَبِيكَ
رَبُّكَ
وَيُعَلِّمُكَ
مِن
تَأْوِيلِ
الأَحَادِيثِ
وَيُتِمُّ
نِعْمَتَهُ
عَلَيْكَ
وَعَلَى
آلِ
يَعْقُوبَ
كَمَا
أَتَمَّهَا
عَلَى
أَبَوَيْكَ
مِن
قَبْلُ
إِبْرَاهِيمَ
وَإِسْحَاقَ
إِنَّ
رَبَّكَ
عَلِيمٌ
حَكِيمٌ
6. "And thus drafts you does your Lord and teaches you from
the interpretation of narratives, and completes His grant upon
you and upon the family of Jacob as He completed it upon your
fathers from before, Abraham and Isaac; assuredly your Lord is
most knowledgeable, most judicious.
لَّقَدْ
كَانَ
فِي
يُوسُفَ
وَإِخْوَتِهِ
آيَاتٌ
لِّلسَّائِلِينَ
7. There truly were, in Joseph and his brothers, signs for the inquirers.
إِذْ
قَالُواْ
لَيُوسُفُ
وَأَخُوهُ
أَحَبُّ
إِلَى
أَبِينَا
مِنَّا
وَنَحْنُ
عُصْبَةٌ
إِنَّ
أَبَانَا
لَفِي
ضَلاَلٍ
مُّبِينٍ
8. For they said, "Surely Joseph and his brother are more
beloved to our father than we are, yet we are a gang; assuredly
our father is surely in manifest deviation."
اقْتُلُواْ
يُوسُفَ
أَوِ
اطْرَحُوهُ
أَرْضًا
يَخْلُ
لَكُمْ
وَجْهُ
أَبِيكُمْ
وَتَكُونُواْ
مِن
بَعْدِهِ
قَوْمًا
صَالِحِينَ
9. "Kill Joseph or relegate him (to) some land, thus
vacates to you will the countenance of your father, and you will
become after that righteous people."
قَالَ
قَآئِلٌ
مَّنْهُمْ
لاَ
تَقْتُلُواْ
يُوسُفَ
وَأَلْقُوهُ
فِي
غَيَابَةِ
الْجُبِّ
يَلْتَقِطْهُ
بَعْضُ
السَّيَّارَةِ
إِن
كُنتُمْ
فَاعِلِينَ
10. Said a sayer among them, "Kill not Joseph, yet cast him
into the depths of the water-pit, pick him up will some wayfarer,
if you were ever doers."
قَالُواْ
يَا
أَبَانَا
مَا لَكَ
لاَ
تَأْمَنَّا
عَلَى
يُوسُفَ
وَإِنَّا
لَهُ
لَنَاصِحُونَ
11. They said, "O our father, what is it with you that you
trust us not with Joseph and assuredly we are surely unto him
advisers?"
أَرْسِلْهُ
مَعَنَا
غَدًا
يَرْتَعْ
وَيَلْعَبْ
وَإِنَّا
لَهُ
لَحَافِظُونَ
12. "Send him with us tomorrow to frolic and play, and
assuredly we are unto him surely preservers."
قَالَ
إِنِّي
لَيَحْزُنُنِي
أَن
تَذْهَبُواْ
بِهِ
وَأَخَافُ
أَن
يَأْكُلَهُ
الذِّئْبُ
وَأَنتُمْ
عَنْهُ
غَافِلُونَ
13. He said, "Assuredly it surely saddens me that you go (away)
with him and I fear that the wolf will eat him while you are of
him oblivious."
قَالُواْ
لَئِنْ
أَكَلَهُ
الذِّئْبُ
وَنَحْنُ
عُصْبَةٌ
إِنَّا
إِذًا
لَّخَاسِرُونَ
14. They said, "Surely if the wolf eats him while we are a
gang, assuredly we are then surely losers."
فَلَمَّا
ذَهَبُواْ
بِهِ
وَأَجْمَعُواْ
أَن
يَجْعَلُوهُ
فِي
غَيَابَةِ
الْجُبِّ
وَأَوْحَيْنَا
إِلَيْهِ
لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم
بِأَمْرِهِمْ
هَـذَا
وَهُمْ
لاَ
يَشْعُرُونَ
15. So when they went (away) with him and gathered to put him in
the depths of the water-pit... and We inspired to him: "You
will apprise them of their affair, this, while they are not
aware."
وَجَاؤُواْ
أَبَاهُمْ
عِشَاء
يَبْكُونَ
16. And they came to their father at dusk, weeping.
قَالُواْ
يَا
أَبَانَا
إِنَّا
ذَهَبْنَا
نَسْتَبِقُ
وَتَرَكْنَا
يُوسُفَ
عِندَ
مَتَاعِنَا
فَأَكَلَهُ
الذِّئْبُ
وَمَا
أَنتَ
بِمُؤْمِنٍ
لِّنَا
وَلَوْ
كُنَّا
صَادِقِينَ
17. They said, "O our father, assuredly we went racing and
left Joseph by our gear, then ate him did the wolf; and not do
you have faith in us even if we are truthful."
وَجَآؤُوا
عَلَى
قَمِيصِهِ
بِدَمٍ
كَذِبٍ
قَالَ
بَلْ
سَوَّلَتْ
لَكُمْ
أَنفُسُكُمْ
أَمْرًا
فَصَبْرٌ
جَمِيلٌ
وَاللّهُ
الْمُسْتَعَانُ
عَلَى
مَا
تَصِفُونَ
18. And they came upon his shirt, with lying blood. He
said, "Rather, lured you did your selves (to) an affair;
thus comely patience, and Allah is the Assister
against what you describe."
وَجَاءتْ
سَيَّارَةٌ
فَأَرْسَلُواْ
وَارِدَهُمْ
فَأَدْلَى
دَلْوَهُ
قَالَ
يَا
بُشْرَى
هَـذَا
غُلاَمٌ
وَأَسَرُّوهُ
بِضَاعَةً
وَاللّهُ
عَلِيمٌ
بِمَا
يَعْمَلُونَ
19. And came did wayfarers so they sent their fetcher, then he
dangled his bucket. He said, "O glad tidings, this is
a youth!" And they concealed him as merchandise; and
Allah is most knowledgeable in what they perform."
وَشَرَوْهُ
بِثَمَنٍ
بَخْسٍ
دَرَاهِمَ
مَعْدُودَةٍ
وَكَانُواْ
فِيهِ
مِنَ
الزَّاهِدِينَ
20. And they bartered him for a depreciated price, numerable dirhams, and they were of him from the disinterested.
